Book 4: (the torment)
Book 5: (the enlightenment)
Book 6: (the self discovery)
Book 7?: (the end of the beginning) I am not to sure if this book will be done at this time or not.

Also wanted you to know that I self published a short story called "Craziness of the Dragon". It is 10 pages long and is being sold for $5.98 at this link.... http://www.lulu.com/content/199548

Stryper (welcomed break from my main guy, E'Falco)

For those of you who don't know me I was a huge Stryper fan. I have all the cassettes, CDs and posters. I even have an autographed picture of Robert and Tim (along with some personal pictures those two as well). I even got their solo stuff (all of Michael's for sure).

But I lost interest back in 2000. All the bad things that were being said about Robert, Michael and the whole nine yards. I didn't see Stryper ever coming back from that desaster. But I guess that time does heal all wounds but I have not even thought of coming back as a fan. Just too much has happened.

I dropped away from all of that internet garbage about Stryper (and maybe even God) when dad was told his cancer returned. I could only handle one stressful thing at a time. He had six months to live. I was down and just could not get up from that. Then in May of 2001, Mom passed away having something to do with her heart. I was already fighting to stay on top but I kicked it into over ride and I took care of Dad until he passed away in October of 2001 (just about 6 months after Mom).

Don't ask me about 2002, I could not even tell what happened that year. But I can tell you about one small miracle. I met someone, someone special (no... not like that! get your mind out of the gutter). I think that was when Teri V. was hired as TV Traffic. Who is Teri V.? She is something else, that is all I can tell you. Always a smile and never had a problem with cooling my temper. I am happy to say we are still friends today. Oh... I guess I forgot to tell you... she is the daughter of a minister. So needless to say, slowly ever so slowly God is making his way into my life. Then in January 2003, my boss, "Dapper" Dan passed away and it was time to give back. I tried to be there of Niki, his daughter.

So there you have it.... My tragic past. It would be in mid-2003 that E'Falco flew into my life. I know that is what mom and dad would have wanted for me. To move on. I don't think I will be getting that little birdy out of my life to soon. As for Stryper (yes... back to topic), well they are back together (sort of, Tim, their bass player is retired now). They have a new CD called "Reborn", I can't say I'm a fan of the CD cover but if I can lay my hands on a copy I'll give them a listen for old time sake.

Book Three's Title

I was just about to write something real nasty about '"so called" friends but you know I have to give it a rest.

"Move on," I told myself. "So what if Carmen stiffed you for $100 over artwork. So what if Dedra is acting jealous of the fact that you got published. Go on," I told myself again. "You have so much to do you ain't got time for them."

SO HERE I AM...... (drum roll) with the title for book three!

"Feathers of a Dancer"
(book three of "The Knightbird")

Preview (Book Three)...

I was thinking last night about book three (no, I don't have a title yet - not even a working one). I still had it on my mind this morning so I decided to throw the idea down before I forgot it. So here you go. I still don't have a release date for book one "The Violet Eyes of Jesse Knight" but when I do I will pass it along to you.

Hey... if you have an idea of what my 'working title' should be let me know. This was written this morning some the spelling might be off. Love to all...

**********************************

Daniel and E'Anna passed quitely out of the small garden by the main Med Tech into one of the greater halls. They were holding hands by this time. Daniel, who swore up and down that this was a bad idea. Now he was just enjoying the company of just being in the presents of the gorgous being. As they were about enter the greater hall, Daniel felt something. He stopped and looked at E'Anna, who looked about as pale and horride as he felt. Something had happened to her brother, she had picked up on it as well.

"We have to find him," she almost pleaded with Daniel.

"He's got to be close," Daniel stated as he leaned in to her. "The feelings is to intence for him to be outside of the royal palace."

They both started to look around for some kind of clue of where to go next. When Daniel noticed that there was a faint light glowing in one of the Med Tech's rooms. He shook his head and tried to reach out for E'Falco. Could he be hurt? Is that what he was feeling? Could someone have brought him here? Or... Daniel knew what it was, before he could even answer any of his own questions. It was 'Dancer'. Anger started to come to him. He looked at E'Anna and was fighting back the erge to tell her but he could not. Daniel had seen some really weird stuff having to do with E'Falco as they were growing up back on earth. This was truly weird, even for E'Falco.

"I think... I think he is in love with that 'Dancer's' corpse," Daniel said in a low voice as if someone just might hear him. He did not have to worry about that, they were both alone as they stood just outside of one of the greater halls.

E'Anna's shock did not need to disgiused. She must have known something was up, being his twin, but this was not what she was thinking at all. How could he be in love with... that?
Daniel took a firmer grip of her hand and started to lead to the chambers were 'Dancer' was being kept. He looked at E'Anna one more time to see if this was sinking in, but it was not. They passed quitely into the Med Tech's office. Daniel decided to head for the light as he was leading E'Anna by the hand. This had to come to an end. Anger was now being replaced by fear and concern for his best friend.

They entered the room with the 'Dancer' still laying in the position as she had done for generations. Something had happen here though. Several of the smaller tables were tipped over on to their sides and instriments were everywhere. Daniel started to go farther into the room but E'Anna's grip tightened. He looked at her as if to reassure her that there was no danger and that he could handle himself.

"This is E'Falco not someone we don't know," he said as he let go of her hand.

She was scared now and he could see it.

"Stay here. If this goes bad head for the guards stationed at the other end of the greater hall," he whispered to her.

The erge to kiss her and wrap her up in his arms to protect her was so great. He turned away knowing that his best friend need him now. Daniel left her holding on to the door frame. He walked carefully deeper into the room. He motioned E'Anna to turn on the lights but nothing came on, they were blown. Daniel was now having second thoughts on entering the room. Lights on earth could blow out easy but not here. Just as he was about to step backwards out of the room he heard something. It was crying.

"Jess? Are you alright, bubba?" he asked to the darkness.

The the sound was now acting as if it was taken in air as after a hard cry. Daniel straned his eyes and looked into the darkness searching for E'Falco. He saw a dark figture curled up in the fartherist corner of the lab. Daniel's concern now over took his fear. He swept in to the figture. E'Anna saw him do this and followed suit. Before there was any argument, Daniel and E'Anna were gently pulling and partly carrying E'Falco out of the room. Daniel motioned to set E'Falco down on the floor just outside of the door of the Med Tech's room. The light was not as bright but it was still privite.

E'Falco was pale and shaking hard. His face was soaked with tears and his eyes were red, he had been crying for a long time. E'Anna came to rest on his right side. She wrapped her arms around his right arm as if he might try to run away and she was going to stop him. Daniel kneeled in front of him and took his left hand in his own and started to rub his fingers. E'Falco acted as if he was not even there. E'Anna gentlely laid her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes. A small dim light appeared between them. Daniel knew that E'Anna was now calling out to her brother's soul. He watched this for a long moment hoping that there was a sign from E'Falco that he was in the 'here and now'. E'Falco leaned his head into E'Anna and E'Anna smiled slightly. E'Falco's eyes began to blink rappedly and if something might be in them. Daniel was releived to see that E'Falco's eyes were now coming into focus. Daniel could not help but smile at his true friend.

"We need to talk about this," Daniel stated. "Your going to have to find someone else a little more out going then her to hang out with. She's just not your type, Jess. Think of the age different."

E'Anna giggled at Daniel's remark. E'Falco just nodded as he was still trying to grab reality but he did smile slightly. He knew his best friend was right. E'Falco started to shake his head as if trying to shake the cobwebs out. Then tears came to his eyes and the visions of those terrible events started to form in his mind. They were so real as if he was there himself.
E'Falco looked at Daniel with fear in his eyes. Daniel started to mesage E'Falco's fingers again as if to tell him that it is going to be alright.

"You are here," Daniel stated with concern in his eyes. "Nobody is going to hurt you and you need to get a grip right now. What the vision was that you had seen, is not here."

"It is," E'Falco said horsely. "It has now come here and it could happen again."

"No, it won't," Daniel replied as he moved to sit on E'Falco's right side. "Because we won't let it."

"What is it that you seen, my equal? Tell us," E'Anna asked in a soft voice.

She laid her head on his shoulder again hoping that she could lighten his burden. He rubbed the top of her head with his. He closed his eyes as if just trying to feel the moment.

"I will tell you but I need to rest now," E'Falco said with his eyes still closed.

"Do you want me to get the healer?" Daniel asked with a nug.

"No... I want my dad. He could soften the visions or even blanket them enough so I could sleep."

Daniel got up with out a word and touched the top of E'Falco's head. E'Falco looked at him still groggy but managed to give him a smile. Daniel just simply smiled back as he started toward the greater hall. E'Anna chose to stay with her twin until their father arrived sometime latter.

Excorted by two guards, King E'Mor, in one fluid motion, picked up E'Falco and carried him to his bedding chambers. Daniel stood at the end the bed and E'Anna took up a chair close to him. E'Falco laid motionless on the bed and allowed his father to enter his now heavy mind. Soft pastel lights appeared over E'Falco's head and started to blanket their soft colors over his face. King E'Mor got up from the bed and motion to Daniel and E'Anna to follow. The three got to door and the King turn to Daniel and E'Anna.

"I want these visions documented," he said in a low voice so only Daniel and E'Anna could hear him. "I can not take these visions away from E'Falco D'Voren but I can perminently soften them." Then he turned to leave but turned back again. "E'Anna, I want as much detail as possible. Daniel, guide him in his telling of these vision, because they will come out in one big jubbled mess. I will leave you two to this task."

King E'Mor reached out and touched his daughter face with his finger tips and then grabbed Daniel shoulder. He turned and headed out the door, leaving Daniel and E'Anna to what was asked. Daniel placed his hands on both sides of E'Anna's face and brought their forheads together. That erge to kiss her was still there but he knew maybe he should not.

"Buckle down, sweety. This could be a bumpy ride for both of us," he said softly.
She just smiled trying to figture out if he ment them or E'Falco.

Poetry

You know I have never really looked at myself as a poet. But now, I guess I have no choice but to try to be one.

When I do things for others when asked it is really because I want the same done in return. Someone, some time ago, asked me to do a piece of art for her book, so I did. I was hoping that maybe I would get that kindness repayed back to me. Instead, I got insulted and told that I didn't live in the real world. This person even went as far as saying that I needed help. All I asked for is a poem, just a simple poem. It is sad really, that which I had done, the amount of effort, money, and time was repayed to me like this. If this is the real world, I think I will stay right where I am thank you.

The Second Daysong

Come to the heart of the Second Daysong
For this is for those who fight for our freedom
Come and let it be known they are not the forgotten one
From them we will gain our loved kingdom

They are our strength and our hope
Let us pray for them to return safe
They know what our beating hearts hope
Let them come back to their true place

For our souls will join in their coming home
We will all be joined in the eyes of the Graces
For the souls of our loved one need not roam
We wish them only peace in personal spaces

Come to us our beloved strong sons
It is you whom we love is spite of youselves
Come for our love our beautiful ones
It is for you that we will listen to your tales

There is more, I think, but this what I did one night. Love to all.....
*I will not name the person I was speaking about because of her career as a writer.

Hi... It's me.

Just thought I would post again. The excitment of my time in the paper is starting to die down now. But now I trying to focus on my second book "Daysong for a Knightbird". I got chapters one and two done now I have to finish typing them into my laptop. Then I can start editing the rest of the book so it all runs together and make sure I set up for the next book in the process.

This is an exciting time but it is like a slow burn. Unless you pay attention you can easily forget that it is there. I'm real excited for another friend of mine, Matthew. He is so ready to take that jump too. To see his book in print too will be exciting.

The doubt...

"Daysong for a Knightbird" is now the working title for book two in the 'Knightbird Series'. "The Violet Eyes of Jesse Knight" is book one. Accually, both these books were written at the same time as one story. I made the choice to divide the book in half and market them as two. Both books will be of the same series but could be read seperately.

I doubt myself some much. I wish I would not do that. My story telling abilities are not the best. There are some many times I wish some else would write these wild dreams I have. I have thought about where these stories are going and there is SO much to write. To give you an idea where all this is leading....

Jesse is going to be put to the test of loyalty to himself and his father, the currect King. He will encounter the very same race that exciled his forefathers to the stars. From there he will have the question most children ask, "Where did we come from?". This will lead him back to his second home and to a mythical place called Lumeria.

I am sure this will take several book to tell this story and who knows.... taking on Religion and Evolvution just might be fun. I am sure it will be a beautiful miserable experiance.

Fargo (the movie) continued....

Oh my... I have recieved a couple of comments about what I said about the movie "Fargo". So I'm going to address the last comment here and now. And I'll address as if it was NOT posted by one of my many relatives.

Yes, my roots are in North Dakota and alot of the movie is true. It is true that if you are going to talk to anyone be prepared to sit and talk a spell. Now Fargo is located at the OTHER end of the state close to Minnesota (ok, I'm opening a NEW can of worms) and yea I heard them talk like that too. But also yea, they talk like that in Canada too but look how far the STATE is from there as well. Don't get me wrong..... I love North Dakota. I all but grew up there.

The Violet Eyes Project (part nine...)

I picked Vin Desiel to protray Cry'Star. Vin's voice and hardline roles make him a perfect pick for this character. Now mind you, Cry'Star has alot more hair being that he is cat like in every sence of the word but if I had to pick a human to be Cry, it would be Vin.

Cry'Star is the eldest of all of King E'Mor's children. He is half Trillen, a cat like race that takes protecting there allies with true passion. The races that would prey on the weaker races are their targets. Trillens enjoy hunting them down. Cry'Star is a trillen of the new world. He stands errect and is fluent in several langauges.

His adopted son, Rozz, a trillen of the old world. He would prefer to walk on all fours and sports a tail. Rozz only knows how to speak in old trillen.

The Violet Eyes Project (part eight...)

Drago.... one of the famed Dragon Masters.... The sixth son of King E'Mor. He is a playboy to the max. He has a house full of women but he loves them all. He is an fantastic rider and some what of a show off, but he never puts anyones life in danger even his own.

Being the brother right above Jesse he has one of the closest bonds to him. Drago was going to take the 'equals' to the plains of Fire Lake and the Dragon Keep. But he was stopped by his father and told that Jesse would leave with J'Lon and that he (Drago) would have to make sure the E'Anna was carefully placed in the Underground Temples. Now he would have to wait for the return of Jesse.

The Violet Eyes Project (part seven...)

Siff is the Captain of the Guard's only son. His mother works at one of the Pleasure Palaces. The Captain being a busy man did not have time for a relationship. When he found out that his lover was with child, he payed some big money to keep her with him until Siff was born. Then the Captain became a single parent and Siff became his pride and joy.

Siff is the older of the Page Lords. His father is hoping that Siff would make up his own mind on what to do with his life. He does, when he meets his future King.

The Violet Eyes Project (part six...)

The funny thing about this character is that he really does not have a name. I could not find one that I liked. He has such a limited roll in "The Violet Eyes of Jesse Knight" that I guess I did not think he needed one. But his appearence does pick up and I guess I would think of a name for him before to long.

So I guess I am taking suggestions???

He is a single parent to one son, Siff. The Captain was present for the 'equals' birth so wasn't Siff but he was just about five or six at that time. The Captain would be one of King E'Mor's long time friends maybe even from his original click. True to his King all the way to the core.

The Violet Eyes Project (part five...)

I wanted someone who aged beautifully to give you all a great mental image of Gerd. I believe Lauren Bacall does the trick.

Gerd has work in the Royal House all of her life. She watch each of King E'mor's children being born. She is the best birthing mother in the Crown City. Gerd has a special place in her heart for Jesse even though she did not watch him grow up. I would even believe (or think) she might have a secret love for King E'Mor, himself.

Love to all....

Note to Spammers...

This is a note to spammers.

If you post a link to sale something or think your being cute doing it.... YOUR NOT!

For those who go to read comments and they have been deleted it is because I think that they are spammers. For those friends (and friends I have not met yet) don't let that stop you from posting. I would love to hear what you think. I always love to hear from someone dear to me.

But Spammers - be afraid, be very afraid!!!

The Violet Eyes Project (part four...)

E'Anna is Jesse's equal, his twin. Twins are very rare on Quadstar. If 'equals' are born, one usually dies. E'Anna was the bigger of the two, so she would have been the one to live. Jesse just had a will (and a need) to live.

E'Anna would grow up in the temples. She would become the leader of the entire religous cast. They would all look to her for guidence and leadership. But E'Anna was carefully watch over as well, by one of her elder brothers... J'ar. He too, grew up in the temple and he would have a soft spot in his heart for E'Anna.

Love to all........

The Violet Eyes Project (part three...)

I had a hard time coming up with a name for "Jesse Knight". 'Knight' has been used to death in every other fantasy story out there. Well, I am very fond of the name 'Jesse'. He was origainally going to be named "David Knight". Then bad thoughts of talking cars came to mind and so I changed it. The story has had several different title changes because of this and other reasons.

Jesse was born a Prince and the youngest of his father's children. If you have not guess, Jesse is not his real name. It is his earth name.

Jesse starts his life when most should know what they want out of it. He has to pick between claiming his destiny and taking what life has given him.

Love to all....

The Violet Eyes Project (part two...)

Here is a very important character, not to mention a major one.

This is J'Lon, best friend to the King E'Mor. He is given the youngest of King E'Mor's children to raise and nurture into the next ruler of Quadstar. It is on him that all hope and survival of an entire world rests. J'Lon also has his own secret that very few know of and that his young charge could not even guess at.

The Violet Eyes Project (begins...)

I have been wanting to share with you the many characters that have worked their way into my book. They may have inspired me by their looks or their attiude. I have respect and are in awe of them so I mean no disrespect to them or their careers. I have dubbed this "The Violet Eyes Project"...

First we intruduce you to King E'Mor.

His hair is longer and he does wear an eye patch on his right eye. He lost his eye in a 'power' dual with his father and king at that time, King E'Mir. King E'Mor is the father of of several boys and one girl. Inspite of appearence, he is over a thousand years old.

My Little Trip....

You know it is weird. You would think that something so simple as just going to another town would be boring. Not to mention a town that is smaller if not any bigger then the one that you currently live in.

Today I made my escape! I was given a day off from work so I decided to run off to Sidney, Montana! About 50 miles away. Glendive DOES NOT have a craft store so I ran off to Sidney to their craft store to buy some ribbon. Man, did I buy ribbon! I'm making bookmarks to help promote my new book "The Violet Eyes of Jesse Knight". All I need is the release date and ISBN number. When I have those, I can make my bookmarks. I designed them myself.

When I was in Sidney I also stopped by their bookstore to talk to them about my book. She was SOOOooo helpful. She said that she would love to stalk them!!! Is that cool or what??? When I got home I was so tired from walking around Sidney I took a nap. I nice ending to a nice escape.

I hate spoiled brats!!!!

You know I shouldn't be saying this.... well because I'm the youngest of five but anyhoo....

I HATE SPOILED BRATS!!!! WHY??????? Because they turn into spoiled adults. They do childish things... it's like they got this control issue.

I know of one, HELL! I work with one. One of the worse parts is his parents have not a clue! I mean when ever he starts acting up and we tell our boss (his father), he says WE are all lying. All of us have this problem... every employee. This kid has a lying problem, a big one and harasses everyone here.

I like this job but I'm not sure if I like it that much!!!

Fargo (the movie)

I just saw "Fargo" the movie tonight for the first time. That is one weird movie. It was the UPN Hot Weekend Movie with week. I think the strangest part is that it is all a TRUE STORY, YA'LL. They just changed the names to protect the familys and such.

And YES!!! They DO talk like that in North Dakota!!!!

The wonderful county fair!!!!

I have to say the fair was not like it use to be. Now I just go out there to eat. I don't do rides any more and I'm not into the rodeo part either. So I just go out to eat. So roughly.... I spend about 45 minutes out there and then go home. For the two dollars it takes to get in I would stay longer.

The start of all Things!!!

Here we are at the start of all things.

Wow... I hope I can remember to post often. This might be a problem but then again maybe not. E'Falco was chosen to be the center of my affections as well the source of all that is wonderful to me. He is all that and more. Who is E'Falco???

E'Falco is my made up prince from another world. Mom said that someday my prince would come will in truth, he never did but then again.... Here he is. He is also the center of my book that is soon to be published. Yes... I'm in love with him, all of him.

Love to all Laurlee
